FAQ’s
1. Why are the sessions different lengths of time but cost the same?
Daytime sessions are scheduled to be 2 hours longer for two main reasons. A) We will be breaking for a meal in the middle which will take 60-75 minutes. Meals are not included in the tuition, but we will provide enough time for people to go home or go somewhere local to get a meal. We won’t be breaking for a meal in the evening sessions, participants will be asked to eat dinner before they come. B) There was a much higher demand for daytime sessions, so in anticipation of having more people, we added about 60 minutes of buffer time so that the participants would have time to get through everything. We may or may not need this hour (if we don’t end up needing more time, we will dismiss early), but we wanted to schedule it in just in case. The benefit of having more people is more access to direct feedback and workshopping with business owner peers.
2. Can I attend more than one session?
Absolutely, but I recommend waiting until after your first one to register for another. You may or may not find a second session helpful, but you will know by the end of your first session if it would be. You may also find that after your first Bootcamp session, a couple private sessions is a better value for you than another full Bootcamp.
3. What is the Tier Theory method?
The Tier Theory is a theory of branding that breaks down your brand identity into digestible layers for you and your audience. Each tier involves different branding components, and offers information that expands on each previous tier. Tiers are differentiated by length of time, call to action, delivery platform, etc. Using the Tier Theory Method, you will develop your brand one tier at a time, ensuring that each one cohesively funnels to the next.
4. What do I bring and what will be provided?
If you have any old or previously existing branding, bring all pieces of that. We will provide a workbook, and we will also provide some note taking materials and snacks, but feel free to bring your own!
5. So are we going to be working on logos all day?
I’m so glad you asked. Logos and visual branding is ONE PIECE of a fully comprehensive brand. Many business owners think that once they have their logo and colors, they are good to go for branding, but branding includes soooooo much more than visual branding alone. Often when businesses are having to do constant rebrands or have confusing services or communication (not just confusing to/for their audience but themselves as well), poor or underdeveloped branding is the culprit. Or when they have to start over with their brand every time they grow a little bit, poor or underdeveloped branding is the culprit. Or when their business feels like it’s actually 3 or 4 or 7 or 12 businesses under one brand, poor or underdeveloped branding is the culprit. Your business has values, a community, and an intention, just like you. Your business’s brand is your business’s identity. Your identity is so much deeper than your appearance, and the same is absolutely true for your business.
6. If I register and THEN refer someone to Bootcamp later, can I still get the referral discount?
Totally. We won’t be issuing referral commissions until the day of the Bootcamp anyway. At that time, you will receive a $15 refund for anyone who mentioned you as the referral on their registration. I am even allowing those who use this email’s promo code to earn referral commissions on top of that. It is recommended that you register now, and spend the time between now and your session sending referrals and building a refund.
7. What is the Pan Project?
The Pan Project is my own personal passion project. I have many skills and I love to use them to connect with likeminded people around me, as well as use big picture objectives to serve the community. The mission of the Pan Project is to support the community (including small business owners like you!) through events, collaborations, and other projects. Each project has its own objective, and in this case, the objective is to support small business owners and help them and their business brand realize their full potential, while giving them actionable steps to reach it.
